VOV.VN - As a means of increasing the efficiency of economic stimulus packages, concrete plans should be devised in an effort to support sectors most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, including aviation, tourism, and consumption, whilst accelerating the digital transformation and restructuring of businesses’ operations, according to insiders.

The disbursement of public investment sourced from the State budget reached VND354.6 trillion (nearly US$15.3 billion) during the past 10 months, an increase of 34.4% compared to the same period last year, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 29 ordered competent ministries, sectors, and localities to take stronger actions to speed up the disbursement of official development assistance (ODA) and foreign loans for 2020, as disbursement remains at a critically-low level.
