Cooperation in waste management and the building of emission-free circular economy was highlighted at the third meeting of the Joint Committee of Vietnam’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE) and Japan’s Ministry of the Environment on March 10.

The Da Nang Business Incubator (DNES), in cooperation with the Accelerator Lab (AccLab) in Vietnam, which is also part of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) global network of 90 AccLabs, has launched the Da Nang Circular Economy Hub and Boot Camp to support innovative projects in the city and central Vietnam.

A project promoting the supply and demand of eco-fair agri-food processing products in Vietnam was officially launched in Hanoi on November 24.

A circular economy is the future of every nation’s economy, of all production and business activities. It is the key for rapid and sustainable development, participants heard at a recent forum, entitled “Circular Economy: Direction for Sustainable Businesses in Vietnam”.

A breakout session on circular economy was held on September 24 as part of the Vietnam Corporate Sustainability Forum 2020.
