Vietnamese Ambassador to Brazil Bui Van Nghi, authorised by Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, took part in the IPU Parliamentary Meeting at the 30th Climate Change Conference (COP30) and carried out a series of engagements in Belem, Brazil, from November 13 to 15.

The Science for Peace Parliamentary Meeting themed "Water security and insecurity: Rebuilding peaceful coexistence with science" opened on in the central province of Binh Dinh on September 11, attracting 60 scientists and young parliamentarians from 18 countries across the world.

Vietnam proposed carrying forward the role of parliaments in promoting the approach towards green development and growth to serve recovery post COVID-19, at national, regional and global levels, at the COP26 Parliamentary Meeting in Glasgow, the UK, on November 7.
