UNICEF Regional Director for East Asia and the Pacific June Kunugi expressed interest in forging a comprehensive cooperation framework with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) during her meeting with HCMA President Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang in Hanoi on November 25.

Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Thanh has hailed the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for its effective support to Vietnam in protecting the rights of the child and vulnerable groups in nearly 50 years.

A Child Rights and Business Forum was organised in Hanoi on May 30 by UNICEF Vietnam and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), emphasising the need for responsible business practices that respect child rights and prevent adverse human rights impacts.
