Ho Chi Minh City’s Relief Mobilisation Board has received close to VND245 billion (US$9.3 million) in cash donations and more than VND136 billion worth of goods from agencies, organisations, enterprises and local residents to aid those affected by natural disasters.

The Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association on September 8 handed over cash donations worth VND392 million (US$16,600) to the Cuban Embassy in Hanoi to address the aftermaths of the recent oil storage facility fire in Matanzas.
