The Department of Forestry and Forest Protection under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment has launched WoodID, a mobile AI application that identifies wood species, which can recognise over 260 types of wood so far.

Within the framework of the "Ensuring Timber Legality for Sustainable Forestry Development in Vietnam" forum on September 12, the Vn-WoodID application was officially launched, becoming a key tool contributing to wood traceability.
