VOV.VN - Vietnam welcomes the United States’ objective assessment of the positive results it has achieved in combating human trafficking, while expressing a desire to continue close cooperation with the US on this issue.

Vietnam recognises the more positive assessment made in the 2023 Trafficking in Persons Report by the US Department of State, Spokeswoman of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang told a regular press briefing on June 22.

Vietnam has been intensifying efforts to bring a stop to human trafficking in recent years, according to Deputy Spokeswoman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang.
