Coach Kim Sang-sik receives big reward after ASEAN Cup win
VOV.VN - The Saigon – Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) has rewarded VND500 million to head coach Kim Sang-sik and an additional VND500 million to the Vietnamese national team in recognition of their recent ASEAN Cup 2024 triumph.
This reward is part of a larger prize pool given to the team and coaching staff for their outstanding performance.
Earlier, SHB and T&T Group had announced a reward of up to VND4.4 billion for 10 players from Hanoi FC and Hanoi Police FC. In addition, SHB also awarded VND2 billion to the Vietnam national team. Most recently, SHB presented VND50 million to striker Nguyen Xuan Son who scored most goals at ASEAN Cup 2024.
In total, SHB and the T&T Group’s rewards to Kim Sang-sik, the coaching staff, and the Vietnam national team amounted to VND7.45 billion. This generous reward acknowledges the efforts and dedication of the team and coaching staff for bringing glory to Vietnam.
In addition, a special flight organised by SHB Bank carried supporters and families of the Vietnamese football players to Thailand. It was one of the bank’s initiatives which seeks to stand by the national football team and its devoted fans.
Vietnam stunned Thailand 2-1 in the home match and 3-2 in the away match, securing the ASEAN Cup triumph.
