National squad receives bonus following win over Singapore
VOV.VN - The Vietnam national football team has been awarded a major bonus totaling VND1.5 billion following their recent victory over Singapore to book a ticket for the final of the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
This comes after the national team enjoyed two victories against Singapore in the semi-finals, with the scores of 3-1 and 2-0, respectively.
Through their impressive performances, Acecook Vietnam, the sponsor of the national team, presented a bonus of VND1 billion to Korean head coach Kim Sang-sik and his team, while an additional VND500 million came from Dong Luc Group.
Furthermore, Saigon - Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB) also pledged a VND2 billion bonus if the team is able to go on and win the 2024 ASEAN Cup.
The first leg of the final is scheduled to take place at Viet Tri Stadium at 20:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
They will face off against the winner of the match between Thailand and the Philippines, which will be held on December 30.
