581 local firms win High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Award 2026
VOV.VN - The High-Quality Vietnamese Goods Business Association announced on Maarch 24 that 581 companies have been recognised with the “High-Quality Vietnamese Goods” title for 2026, as voted by consumers.
The award ceremony is scheduled for March 31 at the Independence Palace, Ho Chi Minh City.
This year, key localities with the highest number of award-winning companies include Ho Chi Minh City (302), Hanoi (58), Tay Ninh (34), An Giang (27), and Dong Nai (21). These figures reflect the dynamic role of major economic regions and core agricultural and industrial production areas in enhancing the quality of Vietnamese goods.
Among the awardees, 28 companies have received the title for 30 consecutive years, demonstrating their ability to maintain stable quality, uphold brand reputation, and adapt to multiple market cycles. Meanwhile, 42 companies are recognised for the first time, highlighting a new generation of businesses focusing on high value-added products, environmentally friendly practices, health-oriented offerings, biotechnology applications, and greater transparency in product information.
Survey results also show that the community of high-quality Vietnamese enterprises continues to view the domestic market as a strategic foundation. Consumers, meanwhile, are increasingly cautious in their spending, demanding higher standards in quality, safety, transparency, and brand reliability.
The 2026 survey was conducted from September 2025 to January 2026 through both in-person consumer and retail point interviews in eight provinces and cities, namely Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Hai Phong, Gia Lai, Dong Nai, and Dong Thap, as well as nationwide online surveys.
The survey involved 21,952 consumers, 4,080 retail points, 170 interviewers, and 35 regional supervisors, generating a total of 155,266 votes for 4,439 companies.
From a preliminary list of 659 companies receiving significant votes, the Organising Committee conducted a thorough verification process. This included reviewing company transparency, consulting 39 government agencies across 23 provinces, gathering feedback from media and consumers, and assessing corporate compliance with relevant laws in production and business activities.
The 2026 results demonstrate not only the resilience and quality of established Vietnamese enterprises but also the emergence of innovative new businesses aligned with modern market demands, sustainability, and consumer trust.
