Vietnamese cuisine featured prominently at Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in Europe
VOV.VN - Traditional dishes were among the major highlights of the “Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in Europe” held on Strelecky Ostrov Island in the heart of Prague, Czech Republic, attracting strong interest from travel businesses, tourism partners, and Czech media outlets.

Alongside lively cultural performances and tourism networking activities, the most memorable moment of the event was a stirring performance by Czech soprano Jana Ryklova. With her powerful, emotional voice, she sang the Vietnamese song “Sông quê,” leaving many attendees deeply moved by her sincere appreciation of Vietnamese culture.
At the MOVA Plus booth, which featured Vietnamese agricultural products, guests were invited to sample sweet dragon fruit from southcentral Binh Thuan province and fragrant green-skinned grapefruit from Ben Tre province in the Mekong Delta.

Soprano Ryklova highlighted that traditional Vietnamese dishes at the event gave European visitors a unique chance to experience Vietnamese culture, especially pho, which she described as representing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine.
The Prague stop of the Vietnam Tourism Roadshow proved to be more than just a tourism promotion, it served as a meaningful cultural bridge that showcased a hospitable and welcoming Vietnam to international friends, while further strengthening the country’s presence on the global tourism map.
In addition to spotlighting tourism offerings tailored to Czech and broader European markets, the event also helped to enhance cooperation between Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Czech Ministry of Culture, as well as to boost stronger ties between tourism associations and travel operators from both countries.
