Miss Tourism Identity Vietnam 2026 launched
VOV.VN - The Miss Tourism Identity Vietnam 2026 pageant was launched in Quang Ngai province on August 10 to find ambassadors to promote Vietnamese culture and tourism to international friends.

The beauty contest aims to honour the beauty, intelligence, confidence, responsibility, and compassion of Vietnamese women, while also promoting Vietnamese cultural identity, tourism potential, and the image of the people both locally and globally. Each contestant serves as a cultural ambassador, helping to build a vibrant, integrated, and progressive image of Vietnam.
It is not merely a beauty competition but a solid platform to celebrate Vietnam’s cultural heritage, its people, and its tourism potential, said director, artist and designer Ta Linh Nhan, head of the organising board, at a press conference on August 10.
Following the success of Season 1, the second season promises to be a new step forward, elevating the event into a major cultural festival, contributing to the promotion of Quang Ngai and Vietnam to the world, he stated.
The preliminary rounds will take place from November to December 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, while the semi-finals and finals are scheduled for April 2026 in Quang Ngai province. Compared to 2024, the 2026 edition will expand in scale, incorporating a series of musical performances, tourism promotion activities, and community projects supporting children in remote areas.
At the press conference, the organisers presented six collections of Ao Dai (traditional long dress), inspired by the beauty of Vietnamese women, unique cultural values, and the country’s stunning landscapes.
Made from diverse materials such as silk, chiffon, and brocade, the designs embody a blend of past and present, tradition and modernity, further promoting Vietnam’s image internationally through the attire.
