Korean businesses raised ten main issues related to production, including power cuts and price hikes, intellectual property rights, simplified procedures for foreign workers and workshops for rent in industrial zones.
Park Noh Wan, RoK Consul General to HCM City, applauded Binh Duong provincial leaders for organizing a number of meetings with businesses, helping boost cooperation and remove difficulties for Korean investors.
At the meeting, Wan and the Korean Business Association branch in Binh Duong called on Korean businesses to further invest in the province.
The RoK now has 515 projects in Binh Duong totally capitalized at US$2 billion, ranking third among foreign investors in terms of investment capital.
Since early this year, Korean businesses have poured US$134.2 million into 25 new projects and 14 existing ones in the province.
