Vietnamese embassy participates in charity bazaar in Ukraine

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese embassy in Ukraine and the diplomatic offices of 48 other foreign countries participated in the 27th charity bazaar hosted by the International Women's Club of Kiev in Ukraine.

Vietnam’s ambassador to Ukraine Nguyen Anh Tuan joins alongside 48 other ambassadors cut the ribbon marking the inauguration of the event.

The occasion is one of the club’s many activities and is held annually with the aim of raising funds to support orphans, the elderly, and the disabled.

The cultural element of the fair sees participants display handicraft products and traditional cuisine from each of their respective countries.

A range of traditional delicacies from the nation were served to guests, including traditional pho, a type of noodle soup, and nem, fried spring rolls.

In addition to this, the Vietnamese embassy also introduced a range of ceramic products and lacquer items to international friends in attendance.

Overall, the charity bazaar enjoyed the enthusiastic participation of each of the ambassadors’ wives who were supported by local businesspeople. It is hoped that the event will serve to greatly benefit underprivileged people living throughout Ukraine.
