Vietnam Airlines boosts international flights, rolls out summer promotions
VOV.VN - Vietnam Airlines is increasing the frequency of flights on its Ho Chi Minh City–Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City–Bangkok routes, while also launching a series of promotional offers to meet growing travel demand during the summer peak season.
From June 2 to October 25, the national flag carrier will operate an additional flight on the Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore route every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, raising the total to 18 flights per week.
On the Ho Chi Minh City–Bangkok route, one extra daily flight will be added from August 18 to October 25, bringing the total to five round-trip flights per day.
According to the airline, the additional services on these two key Southeast Asian routes are expected to meet rising demand during peak travel months and further strengthen air connectivity between Vietnam and the region’s major aviation hubs.
To mark the occasion, Vietnam Airlines is offering round-trip fares from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore starting from just VND5.145 million, including taxes and fees. The offer applies to tickets issued by June 10 for travel from June 1 to October 31.
In addition, promotional fares are also available on flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Australia, with round-trip tickets starting at VND12.9 million, including taxes and fees. This deal is valid for tickets purchased through June 30, for travel from June 1 to November 30.
Members of the Golden Lotus frequent flyer programme will also receive an additional 1,000 bonus miles when purchasing economy class tickets directly from Vietnam Airlines’ ticket offices or official agents.
