Two cruise ships bring nearly 2,900 foreign tourists to Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - Cam Ranh International Port in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa greeted two ships on February 14 with the vessels carrying a total of 2,850 passengers and crew on board.
Bahamas-flagged cruise ship Norwegian Spirit carried nearly 2,000 tourists on the Ba Ria-Vung Tau-Khanh Hoa-Hong Kong (China) route.
Meanwhile, the Seven Seas Explorer cruise ship brought as many as 850 passengers to their trip on the Ho Chi Minh City-Khanh Hoa-Coron (the Philippines) route.
Upon arrival, foreign visitors joined various tours, including a cyclo ride through Nha Trang, a trip along the Cai River and the countryside, and excursions to Nui Chua National Park and Vinh Hy Bay in Ninh Thuan province.
The tourists then boarded the two cruise ships once more in the afternoon on the same day as they headed for Hong Kong (China) and the Philippines, respectively.
So far this year, Khanh Hoa has received four international cruise ships with around 11,000 holidaymakers.
By April the locality plans to welcome nine cruise ships carrying approximately 14,650 passengers on board.
