Khanh Hoa welcomes luxury cruise ship carrying 1,900 passengers
VOV.VN - Cam Ranh International Port in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa welcomed the cruise ship Norwegian Spirit with 1,900 passengers and crew on board on February 6.
Upon their arrival, foreign visitors took part in various tours, including a cyclo tour across Nha Trang city, a tour along the Cai River and the countryside, as well as out-of-province tours to Nui Chua National Park and Vinh Hy Bay in Ninh Thuan province.
The tourists then boarded the cruise ship once again later in the afternoon on the same day as they headed for Hong Kong (China).
Earlier, cruise ship Norweigian Sky docked at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province on February 5, bringing approximately 1,900 foreign tourists to the locality.
So far, Khanh Hoa has received 4 international cruise ships with over 8,000 holidaymakers.
By April the locality plans to welcome nine cruise ships carrying approximately 14,650 passengers on board.
The tourism sector in Khanh Hoa province will continue to step up its communication efforts, promotional activities, and initiatives to attract tourists, with a focus on using suitable methods and themes.
