Paragliding show to light up Nha Trang sky this summer
VOV.VN - The Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee announced on June 23 the organisation of a powered paragliding performance to celebrate the Nha Trang Sea Culture and Tourism Festival 2025.
The event is scheduled to run from late June until August 20, 2025, promising an exciting experience for tourists and locals alike.
The takeoff and landing site will be located at a vacant lot in the old Nha Trang Sao project area, near Hon Do, Vinh Tho Ward, Nha Trang City. The entire flying area has been authorised and approved by the Operations Department under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
The organiser, Hon En Adventure Sports Tourism Company Limited, is rushing to complete site preparations and necessary paperwork to kick off the show by late June. It is expected that about 10 powered paragliders and 12 pilots will perform in V-shaped or I-shaped formations across the sky of Nha Trang.
Show times will include one session from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and two sessions from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., offering multiple viewing opportunities. The pilots will glide along Nha Trang’s coastline, from the Vega City project area to Thanh Nien Park Beach, creating spectacular and captivating displays.
This paragliding event is set to enrich the local cultural and tourism experience and to attract more visitors to Nha Trang.
