The poster features a dominant blue colour palette, evoking a sense of serenity and freshness, reminiscent of the romantic Huong (Perfume) River – the landmark of Hue. The illustration combines traditional and modern artistic elements, creating a harmonious and visually striking composition.

The poster introduces images of famous sightseeing spots around Hue such as Ngo Mon (Meridian Gate) and Thien Mu pagoda whilst also depicting modern buildings which shows the development of Hue city.

Images of lotus flowers, lanterns, lion and dragon dances, boat races, traditional art performances, and entertainment activities are all re-enacted on the poster, evoking a vibrant festive atmosphere.

According to the Hue City Department of Tourism, the poster encapsulates the essence of the National Tourism Year 2025, highlighting Hue’s vibrant and diverse events throughout the year. With bright colours, the poster aims to promote the image of Hue as not only an ancient capital, but also as an attractive destination for tourists.

The Hue National Tourism Year 2025 will open on March 25 with a grand ceremony taking place on the banks of Huong (Perfume) River, that is expected to draw the participation of 800 artists.

Throughout the year, a series of activities will take place, including a spring festival running from January to March, a summer festival from April to June, an autumn festival from July to September, and a winter festival from October to December. The event will conclude with a New Year’s Eve countdown party on December 31 to welcome 2026.
