Israeli television highlights Vietnam’s Son Doong Cave in reality show
VOV.VN - Keshet 12, an Israeli television channel that broadcasts dramas, news, and more, broadcast the latest episode of a well-known reality adventure series, featuring the stunning beauty of Vietnam’s Son Doong Cave – the largest of its kind in the world.

This time, veteran journalist Danny Kushmaro chose Son Doong Cave as his destination for the reality show. Throughout the expedition, Kushmaro and his crew faced extreme challenges, including muddy trails, towering rock walls, slippery gorges, pitch darkness, and oxygen-deprived spaces. At times, he slipped and fell, completely cut off from communication, confronting constant risks along the way.
Alongside these dangers, the programme captured breathtaking scenes inside Son Doong that are beams of light streaming through massive “sky wells,” a primeval forest thriving in the heart of the cave, an underground river winding beneath steep cliffs, and colossal stalagmites – all resembling an otherworldly realm hidden beneath the earth’s surface.
For Kushmaro, the journey was not only a physical trial but also a profound mental experience, forcing him to confront fear, isolation, and the thin line between safety and danger. He described Son Doong as the place where the fragile yet sacred bond between humans and nature is most deeply felt.
The reality adventure series had previously taken Kushmaro to other extreme locations, including the Arctic. However, the challenge at Son Doong proved unique in its stark contrast between overwhelming beauty and ever-present danger.
