Hanoi Tourism Festival 2026 offers diverse experiences
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2026 opened at Thong Nhat Park on the evening of March 13, offering visitors a range of cultural and tourism experiences.
Held annually, the event aims to promote Hanoi as a city rich in cultural heritage while also dynamic and modern, while introducing diverse tourism products to domestic and international visitors.
The opening programme was designed as a musical space, serving as a trial initiative to make better use of the capital’s parks and enrich Hanoi’s tourism producrts, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy more cultural and tourism activities in public spaces.
With nearly 100 booths, the festival is organised into several themed spaces. The “Memory” space recreates the charm of Hanoi’s heritage, including the Old Quarter and distinctive architectural features of the city. The “Connection” space serves as a meeting point for tourism businesses and visitors.
A highlight of this year’s event is the “Technology” space, where visitors can experience digital tourism applications such as VR360 virtual reality, international online travel platforms, artificial intelligence tools and robot receptionists.
The “Green” space introduces eco-tourism, rural tourism, resort and outdoor sports products at destinations around Hanoi such as Ba Vi, Soc Son, My Duc, Dong Mo and the Duong Lam ancient village. Meanwhile, the “Essence” space highlights traditional craft villages and Hanoi cuisine.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyen Tran Quang, deputy director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, said the festival, themed “Green tourism, digital experience,” is being held at Thong Nhat Park, a location known for its scenery and long-standing place in the memories of Hanoi residents.
The festival creates a space for residents and visitors to take part in cultural and tourism activities, making a visit to the park more than just a walk. The opening programme and the series of activities during the festival also serve as a first step toward achieving this goal, he said.
With a wide range of activities, the Hanoi Tourism Festival 2026, running until March 15, is expected to attract large numbers of domestic and international visitors. The event helps promote Hanoi as a destination that is safe, friendly, high-quality and attractive, while supporting sustainable tourism development and the capital’s green economy.
