Hanoi promotes tourism at ITB India 2025 in Mumbai
VOV.VN - A delegation from the Hanoi Department of Tourism participated in the business-to-business trade show and convention (ITB India 2025) from September 2 to 6 in Mumbai, where it carried out a series of promotional activities.

This marked an important initiative within the city’s tourism promotion program, aiming to present Hanoi as a safe, friendly, and attractive destination to the Indian market, one of the fastest-growing and most promising sources of international visitors today.
Under the theme “Hanoi – Come to Love”, the city’s exhibition booth featured a distinctive design inspired by the capital’s cultural identity, giving a wide range of tourism offerings such as heritage tours, local cuisine, craft villages, Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) tourism, luxury resorts, night tourism, and inter-regional tours. Promotional videos, tourism publications, and a B2B matchmaking program were also introduced to connect Hanoi’s tourism businesses with Indian partners.
Vietjet Air, along with 15 Hanoi-based hotels and travel companies, participated in the delegation, offering a variety of attractive tourism packages tailored for the Indian market.
On September 2, ahead of the trade show, the Hanoi Department of Tourism launched a promotional event that captured major interest from Indian travel operators.

In his address, Vietnamese Consul General in Mumbai Le Quang Bien commended Hanoi’s tourism sector for its proactive and creative efforts in promoting the city’s image to this promising market. He stressed that the event was not only an opportunity to showcase Hanoi’s rich culture, history, and cuisine to the global tourism community, but also a demonstration of how Vietnamese localities are strengthening international ties and fostering greater cooperation and people-to-people exchange.
ITB India is a major annual B2B trade show and conference for the tourism industry in India. This year’s edition, held from September 2 to 4, gathered travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and tourism technology providers, with a focus on entertainment, MICE, business travel, and tourism technology.
