Da Nang to welcome nearly 700 flights during national holidays
VOV.VN - The central coastal city of Da Nang is expected to welcome nearly 700 flights and a cruise ship with over 2,000 foreign tourists on the occasion of Reunification Day (April 30) and International Workers’ Day (May 1), according to the municipal Department of Tourism.

Between April 30 and May 4, Da Nang International Airport is projected to handle about 692 flights, up 16% from the same period last year. This averages around 138 flights per day, including 57 international and 81 domestic services.
In addition, six new international air routes to Da Nang will be launched from April through the end of the year.
Tien Sa Port is also set to receive a cruise ship carrying more than 2,000 foreign passengers, who will visit major tourist sites in the city. Meanwhile, train arrivals are estimated to reach approximately 13,243 during the holiday period.
To enhance visitor experience, the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center will partner with Vietnam Railways Corporation to hold welcome ceremonies for two special North-South trains.
From April 26 to May 2, a broad array of festive events will be launched at Bien Dong Park, Son Tra Peninsula, and the beaches of My Khe, My An, and Nguyen Tat Thanh. Highlights include kite flying, swimming competitions, beach sports, and art exhibitions.
Room occupancy for 4- to 5-star hotels and other accommodations is forecast to reach 75% to 80% during the holiday.
