Da Nang ready to welcome flights from Middle East and CIS markets
VOV.VN - The central coastal city of Da Nang has made plans to receive flights from the Middle Eastern and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) markets, aiming to meet the travel demand of passengers between Vietnam and those markets.

This information was released at a seminar held on March 25 to promote the tourist markets hosted by the Da Nang Department of Tourism.
Accordingly, the world-renowned five-star airline Emirates will operate the Dubai-Bangkok-Da Nang air route starting from June 2 with a frequency of four flights per week.
The flights will help to facilitate the transportation of passengers from major European cities, as well as those in the United States, to Da Nang.
In particular, the launch of the routes will also provide easy connectivity for affluent travelers from the Middle East heading to Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Crystal Bay Group plans to operate charter flights from Kazakhstan connecting CIS countries to Da Nang with a frequency of one to two flights per week using Airbus A330 aircraft from April 2 to October 31.
Speaking at the event, Truong Thi Hong Hanh, director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, shared that the local tourism industry would develop fresh tourism products to serve Halal tourists and strive to improve the quality of tourism services to satisfy tourists’ demand.
The Middle East and CIS are among the potential markets for the Vietnamese tourism industry.
Hanh therefore urged businesses to upgrade infrastructure and find out more about the culture of each nation worldwide in order to attract more tourists to the locality.
