Adora Mediterranea brings nearly 2,500 Chinese visitors to Da Nang

VOV.VN - The Chinese-flagged ship Adora Mediterranea docked at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port on October 6, carrying approximately 2,500 tourists from Guangzhou Port for a sightseeing tour of the central coastal city.

Upon arrival, the visitors were taken on a city tour around Da Nang, offering opportunities to experience local cuisine and shop for traditional souvenirs.

They then visited some of the region’s most iconic attractions, such as Sun World Ba Na Hills in Da Nang, as well as the My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient Town.

From the Apec Park area, the tourists were also guided by bus to explore notable landmarks including the Museum of Cham Sculpture, Han Market, Linh Ung Son Tra Pagoda, and the scenic My Khe Beach.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the city welcomed over 40,000 cruise passengers in the first nine months of the year, an increase of 25.4% year on year, with 35 cruise ships docking at Tien Sa Port. By year’s end, the city is expected to host 48 cruise ship arrivals, bringing in more than 57,000 visitors, marking a 35.7% rise compared to the same period last year.

To maintain Da Nang’s image as a friendly and civilized destination, local authorities have implemented measures to ensure security, traffic safety, and a positive tourism environment.
