Indian famtrip delegation explores wedding attractions in Da Nang
VOV.VN - The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has received a famtrip delegation of 30 leading Indian wedding planning companies to survey wedding tourism infrastructure in the city.

During their stay, the delegation toured prominent attractions including Sun World Ba Na Hills, Hoi An Ancient Town, and VinWonders Nam Hoi An. They also inspected wedding venues and facilities at various high-end resorts and iconic locations across Da Nang.
The famtrip delegation praised Da Nang’s wedding tourism infrastructure, stating that the city is considered one of the most outstanding wedding destinations in Southeast Asia. Its well-developed infrastructure, world-class resorts, modern transport network and natural beauty make it an ideal location for Indian wedding celebrations.
India has emerged as Da Nang’s third-largest international tourist market, with arrivals doubling compared to the same period in 2024. Indian visitors increasingly view Da Nang as a luxury travel haven and a prime choice for wedding celebrations.
Da Nang is also the first locality in Vietnam to launch a pilot programme focused on wedding tourism. The initiative includes personalized welcome messages on LED screens at Da Nang International Airport, traditional cultural performances, gifts for newlyweds, and exclusive incentives such as complimentary flycam video services, honeymoon night stays, and cyclo tours.
The city has already hosted several high-profile Indian weddings. Notably, in 2024, a lavish wedding costing an estimated US$500,000 was held at a five-star resort, drawing a guest list of elite attendees.
