Capella Hanoi honoured by prestigious magazines

Accordingly, the acclaimed 47-room boutique hotel, which was designed by renowned architect Bill Bensley, has been honoured with a 2024 Global Recognition Award for its outstanding achievements in luxury hospitality.

The award recognises the property's exceptional blend of historical elegance, cultural immersion, and modern luxury situated in the heart of Hanoi's French Quarter.

Capella Hanoi was also recognised by the esteemed Robb Report magazine as one of the Top 25 Restaurants in Vietnam for its restaurant, Hibana by Koki.

The property's flagship restaurant has earned a coveted Michelin star for its exceptional teppanyaki cuisine. Additionally, Yamaguchi Hiroshi, head chef of Hibana by Koki, received the One Knife Recognition at the Best Chef Awards held in Dubai.

Meanwhile, The Times of the UK selected Capella Hanoi among the top three on the list of the 16 best hotels in Vietnam in 2025.

Located on Le Phung Hieu street in the capital, Capella Hanoi embraces a unique Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture, reviving an elegant inn which was known for hosting famous artists and composers during the heyday of opera music in the 1920s.

The hotel only has a total of 47 rooms and suites. However, each room is a special masterpiece which is in association with the name of a famous artist or a legend from the past.
