Hibana by Koki at Capella Hanoi among finest hotel restaurants globally

VOV.VN - Hibana by Koki, a Japanese restaurant of Capella Hanoi Hotel, has been listed among the best hotel restaurants worldwide, as compiled by news outlet CNN.

According to CNN, head chef Hiroshi Yamaguchi is a visionary master of teppanyaki that involves cooking on a teppan (metal griddle).

“As always in Japanese cuisine, the ingredients are all. His meticulously sourced vegetables, seafood, meats and more are among the finest that money can buy,” CNN wrote.

It also recommended sampling dishes such as Hokkaido crab, spiny lobster, and Yaeyama Kyori beef, all of which are considered signature dishes of the eatery.

CNN went on to suggest that after dinner, customers head up to their whimsical and historically-inspired room by designer Bill Bensley.

Hibana by Koki secured its Michelin star on June 6.

Boasting a private-kitchen atmosphere, Hibana by Koki offers a limited capacity of just 14 seats. Guests are required to make advance reservations and anticipate a culinary journey that ranges from VND5.5 million to VND8.5 million, equivalent to between roughly US$235 to US$360 per meal.

Other restaurants to feature in the list were the Restaurant at Dolder Grand of Switzerland, Chaat at Rosewood of Hong Kong (China), Il Ristorante Niko Romito of Bulgari Resort Dubai of the UAE, Le Saint-Martin at Château Saint-Martin Hotel & Spa of France, Lung King Heen at Four Seasons Hong Kong, and Tapas Molecular Bar at Mandarin Oriental of Japan.
