April highlights at Sheraton Saigon
Saigon Café Restaurant on level 1 will offer a special buffet night to celebrate the death anniversary of Hung Kings on Thursday, April 6 (or the tenth day of third lunar month).
Guests will enjoy a wide range of live seafood station, Vietnamese station, Indian station, Pan Asian corner, Japanese specialties as well as highlighted dishes of the night including various choices of salad, oven roasted prime ribs with Yorkshire puddings, and suckling pig.
Other dishes available include baked whole sturgeon fish in Vietnamese flavor, foie gras and baby lobster cooked to order, oyster with cheese and spinach, deep fried spring roll, stir-fried snail with lemongrass coconut milk, crispy marinated chicken wing Korean style and more.
There is a dessert station with bread butter pudding, selection of French pastries, deep caramelized choux, bake cappuccino cheese cake, chocolate tiramisu cake, milk chocolate cheese cake, peach almond tart, Vietnamese tapioca with green bean sweet soup and sticky rice with custard topping.
There is free flow of house wine and special cocktails during the whole night.
A culinary journey to Italy
Saigon Café Restaurant will also feature an Italian theme buffet on Friday and Saturday night, April 21 and 22.
Diners have a chance to savor well-known food of Italy including Italian roasted pork infused apple sauce, grilled foie gras, mushroom and truffle risotto (Italian rice), baked rissotto, lobster pizza, sliced beef pizza, and grilled eggplant with gorgonzola cheese dressing.
Guests should not miss Italiano cream cheese cake, ricotta cheesecake, tiramisu cake, Teppanyaki ice cream station with favorite toppings.
Easter Brunch at Saigon Café Restaurant
Guests can celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 16 with their family and friends with a traditional Easter party featuring an Easter themed buffet brunch with Easter ham boiled in a creamy horse reddish sauce, Easter rabbit stewed in mustard sauce, roast beef prime ribs served with Yorkshire puddings, selection of chilled seafood, fresh seafood, homemade sushi and sashimi, fresh oysters and lobsters, baked oysters and lobsters with cheese and bacon, AND foie gras cooked to order.
There are delicious pastries, Teppanyaki ice cream station with favorite toppings and ice-cream made by guests’ styles and fresh fruits and innovative cocktail drinks. There will also be a kid’s buffet station with their favorites and game corner.
Sizzling Australian beef specialties at Li Bai Restaurant
Li Bai Chinese Restaurant will introduce a special menu featuring sizzling Australian beef cooked in Chinese style with choices of exclusive sauce created by the talented chefs at Li Bai Restaurant during the month of April.
Some highly recommended dishes are Australian beef with garlic sauce, and Australian beef with mushroom and black pepper sauce.
