Air Astana to launch flights to Nha Trang in March 2025
VOV.VN - Air Astana, the national airline of Kazakhstan, will launch flights from Almaty and Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to Nha Trang, a coastal city in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam, starting in March 2025.
According to the announcement on January 17, Air Astana will replace its route to Phu Quoc Island with flights to Nha Trang during the spring-summer season.
From Almaty, flights to Nha Trang will commence on March 30, with a frequency of 4 flights per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
From Astana, flights will begin on March 31, with three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Nha Trang is a famous tourist destination in Vietnam, attracting a large number of international tourists thanks to its beautiful beaches and mild climate.
The city, located in Khanh Hoa province, is currently connected by numerous domestic and international airlines. Among foreign airlines are Aero K Airlines, Air Busan, Air Seoul, AirAsia, Asiana Airlines, Beijing Capital Airlines, Cathay Pacific, China Southern Airlines.
In the first 10 months of 2024, Khanh Hoa welcomed 3.8 million international visitors, accounting for nearly 26% of the total international arrivals to Vietnam.
The launch of Air Astana’s flights is expected to attract more visitors from Kazakhstan and neighbouring regions to Khanh Hoa and Vietnam.
