Adora Mediterranea brings nearly 2,250 foreign visitors to Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - The Bahamas-flagged ship Adora Mediterranea docked at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province on January 6, carrying on board 2,250 foreign passengers, mainly Chinese nationals, for a sightseeing tour.
During their stay, the group visited major local attractions including the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Hon Chong Island, and the Tram Huong (Agarwood) Tower. The Andora Mediterranea is scheduled to depart Khanh Hoa later the same day for Malaysia.
Earlier, on January 4, the Italian international cruise ship Costa Serena of Italy brought 2,961 passengers to Khanh Hoa to join local tours.
According to cruise operators’ registrations, Khanh Hoa is expected to receive 39 international cruise ship calls in 2026, signalling a strong recovery in cruise tourism and growing international interest in Vietnam’s coastal destinations.
The resumption of cruise arrivals is anticipated to contribute positively to the province’s tourism industry and broader economic recovery.
