The 8th Vietnamese-language proficiency test took place at Osaka University, Japan, on February 9, attracting contestants from 20 regions across the country.

A total of 815 Japanese candidates attended the fifth Vietnamese-language proficiency test held by the Japan College of Foreign Languages (JCFL) in Tokyo on June 19, the highest number to date.

The number of participants in the Vietnamese language proficiency exams in Japan has increased over the past years, and those passing the tests have also been on the rise, showing the growing interest of Japanese people in the language.
