A special programme combining Vietnamese circus and Japanese magic will be staged in Hanoi on May 17, announced the Vietnam Circus Federation (VCF) at a press conference on May 14.

VOV.VN - The International Circus Festival 2022 awarded three gold, eight silver, and three bronze medals, as well as certificates of merit to participating troupes, at the closing ceremony held in Hanoi on December 7.

Vietnamese circus performers have left an impression on audiences worldwide, bringing hope of a bright future for the genre.

Vietnamese pair Pham Thi Huong and Truong Hong Thuy won gold prize for their performance "Du Son" (Red Swing) at the 2022 International Circus Festival which was wrapped up on October 26 in Russia.

VOV.VN - Circus performers from 20 foreign countries are set to join Vietnamese artists at the International Circus Festival 2022 which will be held in Hanoi from December 1 to December 10.
