VOV.VN - The new ADC (Asia Direct Cable) international undersea cable route that boasts the largest bandwidth capacity in Vietnam was officially put into operation on December 19.

VOV.VN - The Asia Pacific Gateway (APG) internet cable which connects Vietnam with the rest of Asia has encountered a new technical problem, while another one remains unfixed.

The problems found in Branch S1I of the America Asia Gateway (AAG) undersea cable have been fixed, restoring the internet data connection between Vietnam and Hong Kong (China), Department of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Information and Communications announced on May 24.

The Prime Minister has approved a proposal from Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to expand the national grid from the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang to Ba Ria-Vung Tau province’s Con Dao Island via submarine cables.
