Vietnam has issued major guidelines, policies and orientations to develop innovation and startups, as the Party and State always consider science-technology and innovation as a “strategic breakthrough” and a “main driving force” to create improvements in productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy.

Vietnam maintained its third position in the number of investment deals and regained the third place in terms of total investment in startups in Southeast Asia.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has said startup and innovation must be considered as a crucial political task that contributes to promoting robust economic growth, enhancing competitiveness edge and efficiency of production and business, increasing labour productivity, and opening up a new development space.
