Thai startups seek Vietnamese talents
VOV.VN - Both international and Thai startups are always looking for technology talents in the Vietnamese market as this can be an advantage that Vietnam is superior to other markets, according to insiders at the Techsauce Global Summit 2024 held in Ho Chi Minh City on October 10.
Upon addressing the event, Oranuch (Mimee) Lerdsuwankij, CEO of Techsauce, emphasised that the enhancement of co-operation between the Vietnamese and Thai startup ecosystems has enjoyed numerous advantages as the investment capital flow between the two countries has been increasing rapidly.
She pointed out that in a bid to attract capital into startup firms, Southeast Asia needs to unite to build a regional market, adding that startups are required to keep this mindset in the future.
Meanwhile, Thanussak Thanyasiri, CEO of technology firm KBTG Vietnam, highlighted the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI), adding that it takes at least six years for a business to realise the benefits that AI can bring.
“AI will definitely change the way businesses operate in the coming time,” he said.
At the event, representatives from regional startups discussed the essential role of the technology industry in accelerating economic growth, while hailing collaborative efforts to build a technology ecosystem in the country.
This represents the first time the Techsauce conference has been held in Vietnam with the aim of fully tapping into the potential from co-operation between the Thai and Vietnamese technology ecosystems.
