Vietnam's retail e-commerce market is estimated to surpass US$25 billion in 2024, marking a 20% increase compared to the previous year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
An international workshop discussing opportunities to connect and expand markets for Vietnamese exports via cross-border e-commerce partnership with Amazon was jointly held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on September 14.
Consumers and businesses are called on to join authorities to curb counterfeit, fake, and smuggled goods on online shopping platforms, particularly as e-commerce has been thriving strongly in Vietnam.
