VOV.VN- Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on November 11 led a Vietnamese delegation to attend the opening ceremony of the 40th and 41st ASEAN Summits which are underway in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, with the participation of leaders of ASEAN member states, ASEAN Secretary-General along with many representatives of international partners and organizations.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh received in Phnom Penh on November 9 Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, during which they agreed to enhance cooperation between localities, especially border ones, and promote people-to-people exchange.

Progress has been made in building and perfecting institutions and laws over the past time, contributing to promoting socio-economic recovery and development, maintaining political stability, ensuring national defence and security and expanding international integration, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The Vietnam-Cambodia and Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Associations convened the 5th gathering for friendship and cooperation between the two peoples in Binh Phuoc province on November 6.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has affirmed to the National Assembly that the Government and local administrations will continue to drastically implement set measures and tasks while fixing shortcomings so as to realise the year's targets to the highest possible level and create a driving force for next year.
