VOV.VN - The government has approved the first phase of the Long Thanh International Airport construction project worth more than VND109 trillion, equivalent to over US$4.6 billion.

Investment capital for the first phase of the construction of Long Thanh International Airport in the southern province of Dong Nai was high compared to other international airports, said the State Appraisal Council.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc inspected site clearance at the Long Thanh International Airport project on July 21, where he urged Dong Nai province to take more drastic action to disburse public funding for the key national project.
