As one of the few sectors reporting export turnover increase in the first quarter of 2023, Vietnam's vegetable and fruit sector has a bright outlook to earn US$4 billion in export revenue this year.

Rice exports in April 2023 were estimated at 1.1 million tonnes with a value of US$573.9 million, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development reported.
