Japanese gov’t helps Thua Thien – Hue flood victims
Through the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Japanese government is assisting flood victims in the central province of Thua Thien – Hue with 50 water purifiers and 250 plastic mattresses, helping ease difficulties the victims are suffering, the JICA said on October 19.
Campaign launched to call for donations to flood-hit residents
The National Assembly Standing Committee, NA Office and NA agencies launched a campaign in Hanoi on October 16 to call for donations to residents hit by floods in the central region.
