Vietnam has taxed global tech companies like Google, Facebook and Microsoft an average of over VND1 trillion (US$43.71 million) annually for their cross-border goods and services between 2018 and 2021, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc told legislators on March 16.

A meeting held by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) on March 9 pointed out the urgent need to shift from unofficial and small-scale shipment to export through official channels to China.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) and trade associations need to devise solutions together to address the congestion of farm produce at border gates, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan has said.
