VOV.VN - Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on January 15 met Eduard Stiphout, Senior Vice President of Dutch semiconductor giant ASML, calling on the company to expand cooperation in training, research and supply-chain development as Vietnam accelerates its push into the global semiconductor industry.

The National Innovation Centre (NIC), in coordination with the British Embassy in Vietnam, co-hosted the Vietnam – UK Semiconductor Forum in Hanoi on August 18.

The Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Hanoi (Kotra Hanoi), part of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea (RoK) in Vietnam, held a conference on Vietnam-RoK co-operation in the semiconductor industry on August 6.

A seminar in Tokyo on July 9 brought together Vietnamese and Japanese stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration in the burgeoning semiconductor industry.
