VOV.VN - Vietnam’s Ministry of Health has issued an urgent request to strengthen surveillance and prevention measures against the Nipah virus at border gates, healthcare facilities and in the community, amid developments related to the disease in India.

VOV.VN - The Department of Medical Services Administration under the Ministry of Health issued an urgent notice late on January 27 in response to the risk of the Nipah virus entering Vietnam, requesting healthcare facilities nationwide to strengthen proactive disease prevention and control measures.

VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam’s busiest and most populous locality, is expected to extend social distancing which was imposed a month ago as the number of newly detected cases has increased considerably these days.

VOV.VN - The Ministry of Health (MoH) on April 8 confirmed nine more coronavirus infections, including two Indian experts, bringing the total number of COVID-19 patients in Vietnam to 2,668.
