VOV.VN - The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade jointly announced an adjustment to retail fuel prices, rising slightly as from 3PM on January 2.

VOV.VN - In tandem with a strong increase in global crude oil prices, domestic fuel prices saw a sharp rise as of 3p.m. on November 7 following price adjustments by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

VOV.VN - Vietnam imported over 7.5 million tonnes of oil and petrol worth around US$7.74 billion as of mid-November, up 24.1% in volume and 122% in value year on year, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

VOV.VN - Vietnam had spent nearly US$6 billion importing 5.65 million tonnes of petroleum of all kinds as of August 15, up 150% in value year on year, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

VOV.VN - The Government has agreed with the Finance Ministry’s proposal to cut the environmental protection tax on petrol by half in an attempt to stabilize the petrol market and rein in inflation.
