As many as 3,637 businesses in the capital city of Hanoi resumed operations in January, marking a substantial increase of 44% as compared to the previous month, data from the municipal Statistics Office showed.

Over 6,400 firms in Ho Chi Minh City resumed their operations in 11 months of this year despite the COVID-19 pandemic, up more than 21% year-on-year.
