VOV.VN - Vietnam aims to speed up the implementation of key railway projects connecting with China, including the Lao Cai–Hanoi–Hai Phong, Hanoi–Lang Son, and Hanoi–Mong Cai lines.
Vietnam and China have signed seven important cooperation documents in the railway and road sectors, including two intergovernmental treaties, two official development assistance (ODA) agreements between the two governments, and three ministerial-level accords.
Efforts are being ramped up to fast-track three railway projects linking Vietnam and China, with the aim of making them symbolic project in bilateral cooperation, according to the Ministry of Construction.
A protocol related to railway transport cooperation between Vietnam and China was signed at the 44th Vietnam-China border railway conference held in Hanoi on December 12.
