VOV.VN - Following the signing of agricultural purchase deals worth US$800 million in the state of Iowa, Vietnamese businesses have continued to ink a similar memorandum of understanding worth US$600 million with partners in the state of Ohio.

Vietnamese businesses operating in agriculture will attend the Agricultural Supply Chain Asia conference (ASCA) co-hosted by the US Grains Council, the US Wheat Associates, and the US Soybean Export Council from March 18 – 20, according to the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

The upgrade of Vietnam-US relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership will usher in a new era of possibilities, including improved access to cheap feedstock for Vietnam's husbandry sector.
