VOV.VN - The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Vietnam launched the 2025 Human Development Report (HDR) in Hanoi on May 12, acknowledging Vietnam’s efforts maintain its high human development index globally despite a global slowdown.

VOV.VN - A competition to encourage digital innovation solutions among young people was jointly launched in Hanoi on April 23 by the Voice of Vietnam Radio (VOV), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Vietnam) and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee.

The Vietnam Offshore Wind Energy Technical Potential Report 2025 was announced at a ceremony held in a hybrid format in Hanoi on April 18, which was connected with 28 coastal provinces and cities, and hydrometeorological stations nationwide.

Over 25,000 Vietnamese residents in seven coastal localities are now safeguarded by storm-and flood-resistant homes thanks to a project on improving resilience of vulnerable coastal communities to climate change in Vietnam.

Vietnam will continue to closely coordinate with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in implementing development programmes and projects in the coming time, said Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the UN.

Vietnam has achieved positive results in socio-economic development and foreign affairs in 2024 despite global uncertainties, said Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Laos Dao Xuan Lai.

Vietnam's greatest human right achievement is ensuring the well-being and happiness for 100 million people, with democracy, peace, security, safety, and the maximum promotion of human factor, which reflects the core stance of the Vietnamese Party and State on protecting human rights and not leaving anyone behind during the development process, a hallmark of socialism in Vietnam.

Youth Co:Lab Vietnam – an initiative co-created by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Citi Foundation - and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) launched the National Study on the State of the Ecosystem for Youth Entrepreneurship in Vietnam on December 5.

At a workshop co-hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance’s National Institute for Finance in Hanoi on November 14, global experts shared invaluable experience in developing financial and insurance strategies, aimed at fortifying Vietnam's resilience to natural disasters.
