VOV.VN - Vietnam’s Noi Bai and Da Nang International Airports have improved their positions in the 2026 world’s top 100 airports ranking, compiled by UK-based aviation consultancy Skytrax.

The Department of Customs reported on February 27 that during a peak anti-smuggling campaign ahead of the 2026 Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, customs forces uncovered 35 cases and seized about 165kg of various drugs, including nearly 4.5kg of cocaine trafficked through Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Carriers have added 19 additional aircraft, four more than a year earlier, bringing the total number of planes in service during the peak Tet (Lunar New Year) period to about 216–218.
